About this skill

Build NX / Designcenter Ship Structure models headlessly with NXOpen Python - the ship grid (Main Dimensions, Transverse Frames, Longitudinal Y/Z Frames, Decks, bulkhead planes) and Basic Design plate systems (Deck, Transverse/Longitudinal Bulkhead, Hull from hull faces) with Seams that split them - through part.Features.ShipCollection (NXOpen.Features.ShipDesign). Use this whenever someone asks for a ship grid or frame system ("frames every 700 mm from FR0 to FR20"), deck or bulkhead plates, a hull plate system, plate thickness/area of a deck, splitting a plate with a seam, or wants to script MainDimensionsBuilder, TransFrameBuilder, DeckBuilder, SeamBuilder, and also when they ask for stiffener systems, pillars, brackets or Ship Structure XML export (this skill says what those need).
